The stars continue to collide on The Lost Cities Tour. During the Anaheim, CA stop of the tour, West Coast veteran Mitchy Slick visited with Strange Music and enjoyed performances from Flawless, Jay Rock, and Tech N9ne. After the show, Mitchy Slick and Jay Rock snapped this photo that was later shared over Twitter. The two are no strangers to each other as they collaborated in the past on Jay Rock’s “Paid My Dues”. “Boomerang”, the sexed-up track from Jay Rock’s Follow Me Home, has finally received a video treatment. In the video, Jay Rock visits a special hotel room full of LA’s finest ladies and gets a private dance in the suite’s bedroom. Shot in a hypnotic fashion, the sexuality in “Boomerang” is treated with the class and distinction that TDE has become known for in their videos and the result is a very seductive look for Jay Rock.

Black Hippy’s star continues to rise with every Top Dawg Entertainment release, and Follow Me Home is no different. With “Say Wassup”, Jay Rock looked to his partners in crime to deliver a throwback single complete with a music video. The video’s care free attitude and disregard for gangsta stereotypes have quickly made it a favorite among online hip hop sites. Fader.com recently featured the music video along with a brief write up. Noting the group’s classic vibe, the feature says:
“This is exactly what West Coast Underground Rap was like in the ’90s. Black Hippy doesn’t echo just the sound, but the vibe and intention as well (and the fisheye lenses). “
